Obbard manage a rental flat in Kensington, London for me. Which was getting very tired looking and definitely under-achieving on its rental potential. Obbard’s design wing (Obespoke) put together a fantastic, well-costed redesign proposal for me that completely transformed the value of the total floor-space, turning a drab living room into a bright, stylish and spacious kitchen/living area and what was previously a slightly dull two bed ground floor flat (with one shower-room en suite and a separate bathroom) into a sleek, bright, modern three bedder with one bathroom/basin/loo and one shower-room/basin/loo ensuite and another separate (albeit v compact, but still totally comfortable) 3rd shower-room/basin/loo as well.
I think they must have modelled their lay-out skills on the build for the Tardis! They managed the whole thing seamlessly from start to finish, right the way through to new furniture, soft furnishings and even little artefacts for various shelves. And I was kept informed of the detailed progress against the budget all the way through the build and consulted as and when needed. As a testament to how good the finished product was (and still is – the refurb was done through 2016) it rented at our top target rental the day after it was shown to a couple of agents (and for c£17k pa higher than we were achieving previously). If you want a top quality, well-managed job done, with maximum friendliness and the absolute minimum of fuss, then you couldn’t find better.
